Singapore Free Attractions + Itinerary

So, last time I started a poll on my Instagram about what should I write for my next blog post and the result is 50% for theme park tips and 50% for Singapore free attractions.

This blog post will be my combination Singapore itinerary for year 2018 and 2019. I surely will visit again soon, probably will be next year? This would be a great place for me to do comparison for my expenses.
So for the first time traveled to SG I spent around RM 2200 each person for 4 days and the second time when I organized a short family trip, we just spent RM 566 for 3 days.

The second time become wiser and experienced so every thing I planned very accurate as I bring 2 aunties and 1 uncle go out see a whole new world.

Sentosa and USS is at the same area but I don't think we have enough time to visit and play at the two places on same day, so I choose Sentosa on my first Singapore trip.
Below is the list of all free attractions I visited during year 2018:

1. Marina Bay Sands
2. Marina Bay Waterfront Promenade
3. Spectra Lightshow
4. Esplanade
5. Anderson Bridge
6. Marina Square

A very beautiful place to take nice photos around no matter day time or night time. For spectra lightshow, the show time is on 8pm and 9pm everyday. For public holiday or special event, there may have additional lightshow. All of the places above are located at the same area, one place is very near the other one, you can reach by walking.

7.Little India
8.House of Tan Teng Niah
9.Indian Heritage Centre

I visited Singapore during Deepavali holiday and my friend who works in Sg recommended me to come here and see got any special things or events happening around. I don't know where to go when reached Little India, I just followed the crowd and I reached Indian Heritage Centre which allows free admission for local and foreigners. I'm impressed how the publicity works, I still remember every single details about Chetti Melaka documentary that they filmed. There are a lot of Indians there and I don't think I will visit again next time because everyone will stare at you like 'why are you here, what do you want' 😂 Maybe it's not a tourist attraction but we appeared at there.

10. Haji Lane
11.Clarke Quay

Clarke Quay and Haji Lane have more peoples during night time because there have lots of bars and restaurants. And I'm here to take photos only because I don't have extra money. Haha

12. Orchard
- We came for Orchard library but unfortunately it's a public holiday so the library is closed. But all the international brands have outlets over here, so if you bring enough money, you can come over here shop till you drop.

13. Fort Canning Park

The tunnel make me feels like be in the animation movie, Spirited Away by Miyazaki Hayao. An attraction that must brings nice photographer with you, the place is beautiful but it's difficult to teach your partner how to shoot from good angle.

14. Chinatown
-Here have many Chinese restaurant and souvenir shops. 2 dollar shop is everywhere and you can buy beautiful Sg keychain for your friends there. I came here searched for food and didn't take any photos of this place. I can conclude Chinatown as a nice place to hang around even if you don't want to buy anything or eat anything, but you still will if you are there.

15. Merlion Park
Okay, I consider everyone knew what is this. So skip to the next one.

16. Sentosa
17. Vivocity
18.Siloso Beach

Sentosa doesn't have to buy entrance ticket, just if you wish to visit the aquarium or fun park then you will need to buy tickets. The USS globe is outside the entrance of theme park and Sentosa has 3 beaches that doesn't require any ticket, you can spare your camera and take pictures as many as you can. I bought Sentosa Fun Pass from Klook so I will blog about the whole Sentosa experience and expenses in a different post. Will attach link here if I done. Hehe.

Special thanks to my secondary school best friend, Eng Seng who fetched me around Singapore and sent me to airport even tough he had job to do that time. This appreciation post might a lil bit late but I know if you see it you won't mind. Haha

The second time visited Singapore with my family so can't go theme park because they will complain foots pain, shoulders pain, knees pain and whatever pain. So I bring them go jalan jalan cari makan and take photos. Places that I visited on year 2019:

1. Marina Bay Sands

2. Marina Bay Waterfront Promenade

3. Spectra Lightshow

I read those reviews on Google and they said have to be there at least 15 mins earlier to get a good seat and it's damn true.

4. Anderson Bridge

5. Casino Marina Bay Sands
- My family insisted want to go casino so I purposely went there to get free drinks.

6. Garden by the Bay

DSLR camera is heavy but I never regret to bring them along for this trip. So many nice pictures taken with DSLR camera.

7. Orchard library

Photos taken by a beautiful tourist from China.

8. Apple Orchard Road

There was a lots of people came here to buy iphone but I'm here just for the staircase shots.

9. Tampines
This place is much more like a residential area with good foods. Went here for food so didn't snap any pictures. We were here to get our lunch done before heading to Changi airport.

10. Clarke Quay
Came here with family in a hurry. Many bars around and they don't like the environment so we just have a short night walk here.

11. Douby Ghaut
Got special event here and we stop by to hang around and watch performance.

12. Chinatown
We shop around and went to Maxwell food court for cheap foods.

13. Buddha Tooth Relic Temple
We went here in wrong timing. It was closed already on 4pm that day and the weather is hot so we don't want to snap pictures with our sweaty hair and face.

14. Merlion Park

15. Jewel @ Changi airport

So basically these are all the free attractions that I visited. I believe there are still many hidden and beautiful place that I haven't explore. For me, Singapore is a country that suitable for short getaway because the country is too small, if travel  for a week or more than that, it will be enough to explore whole Singapore and I won't feel like going back to this place anymore. 😅

See you on next post, Goodbye.
