Hong Kong & Macau Trip - MYR 2200
Let's forget how my exam went on, I will not write some negativity thoughts in my blog anymore start from year 2018.
Rate: MYR 1 = HKD 1.94
Well, except high consumption would be the reason people around didn't suggest me to travel there, when I said I would like to have a short getaway for only 4 days 3 nights, they told me it's a impossible task because Hong Kong need more days to hang around completely.
In my opinion, I wouldn't like to rush and wake up early just to go to every 'checked in spot', 'instagramable spot', 'traveler's must-list' and whatever crowded places. Somemore it's a kind of waste if you go the places that you're not interested like temple, museum, tower or any buildings that built just to attract tourists and let them spend more money on tickets and time.
My plan might not suit everyone but I hope it's helpful to help everyone for planning.

It's impossible for someone to travel to a country with high consumption in a budget way, but it's actually possible if you did some homework and plan well.
I'm still a student and didn't have a fix salary, I was like 'should I' and 'could I' when everyone around me stopped me and advised me not to travel to Hong Kong.
Well, even if the whole world stop me from doing this or that, I will still follow what I want because you will never know if you never try. I actually ask for some suggestions and advice from my bestie Cthong who've been to HK before I travel there.

Hong Kong Travel Tips:
1.Filter the review for your stay
Here to suggest all the girls not to stay in ChungKing Mansion if you travel with a bunch of girls or travel alone, that building is actually full of foreigners and very complicated. We felt deceived when the picture shown when we booked online doesn't match with reality. It's really not safe for girls to stay there altough it's cheap.
2.Download Klook for more promo and discounts.
We booked earlier and felt easier to settle payment in Malaysian Ringgit. We bought Octopus Card, Hong Kong Disneyland Ticket, Express Rail Link Ticket to/from Kowloon Station and Turbojet Roundtrip to/from Macau at Klook apps.
3.Go only places you interested
If you like shopping then just skip the so called must visit places and go only places you can afford to shop. Hong Kong and Macau is actually a nice place to shop but aware of imitation, I checked on internet which Nike Outlet Store have only one shop that is recognized and authorized in Tsim Sha Tsui so I go for it. There is a lot of shops selling the perfect copy you might not know how to recognize. Suggest everyone check on the official website for authorized dealer and shop first if you wish to buy some branded stuffs in Hong Kong.
4.Download Google Maps
Google maps is very helpful to plan your arrival time for a destination. If you don't want to face those impolite citizens, Google Maps is always ready to serve and help, it can even show you every bus route and list out the shortest route and the fastest arrival time.
5. Ready to get scold
Culture in Malaysia and Hong Kong is totally two different things which Malaysia look important of customer right and customer is always right, but in Hong Kong you will always get terrible treat from the local anytime and anywhere. While we were on a shuttle bus, a lady is asking the driver when to stop at her hotel, but the bus driver scolded her very loudly and said you've missed it and there is no more turn back. So as long as you are in HK, get ready to get scold anytime no matter what. You may get scold for asking direction, purchase an item or else, so do not mind it.

For me, I don't think Hong Kong food and drinks are very expensive because the price range is from RM30 for a meal and it's same like you spending money in those cafe or Starbucks in Malaysia.
If you wish to purchase tickets earlier on Klook, remember to read all the terms and regulations first, because you will arrive at different terminal when you going back as I know ferry from Macau to Kowloon doesn't available at night.
Ruins of St.Paul crowded with tourists from different countries.
I actually booked my flight two weeks before traveling and we just used 7kg hand carry bag because we want to save more money.
Hong Kong Disneyland is the only 'check in spot' that I wouldn't want to miss in Hong Kong
A good experience to watch movie in another country and this movie is really worth to see it as it's very touching and meaningful. BTW, I think I will never watch movie in another country anymore because the fare is doubled compare to cinemas in Malaysia. The movie tickets we bought is 105 hkd per person that equal to RM55.
