It's almost one month since I'm officially a student of Universiti Sains Malaysia.
I had a very bad, tough and sleepless day on orientation week that made me had a bad impression to PPSL. Also, a disappointed feeling towards USM's management which didn't let us register courses online but have to queue up in front of classroom or office for registration. I made a new friend from Pakistan this week, her name is Umber, she complaint that she have to go for several school for registration and wonder why registration can't be done within days and at a fix place. It's almost a month she is here but still didn't manage to register for her courses.
MyCSD system is the most terrible one for each of us because we have to get higher credits for myCSD if we want to stay inside campus. I think every of us is not coming for learning but wasting time on getting hostel or 'desa'. It's a horrible system that torture us in mentally and physically. It's like our KPI. This system made co-curriculum is much more important than academic.
So I join many activities in this month until I lose myself and forgot the reason why I enter uni. I went to interview for audition of SKKT Mid-Autumn Festival. I actually went there to seek for myCSD and intentionally want a position in that secretariat. I used to love singing as well before I'm choose to be a performer of the festival. But after so many practices, I don't think I like it that much anymore because they label singers have to sing at high pitch and must follow the way or the style the singer sing. I just simply love singing and have my own way to present my performance.
This is the first month that my boyfriend and I step into long distance relationship. I felt such a sense of relief on the day we meet up after so long time. I thought I will feel shy or strange but he managed to break the walls and ice. I'm comfortable and can be myself when I'm with him. He is always caring and sweet.
