Things to do in Hong Kong

1. Octopus Card

A must to have it with you because it is very convenient to pay for transport fees or purchase an item. You can buy Octopus Card once you arrive at Hong Kong International Airport or buy it with Klook apps. If you buy it on Klook, you can pickup at airport and the card will preloaded with 50 $HKD.

2. Star Ferry Pier

Going to/from Central or Wan Zai to Tsim Sha Tsui (TST) by MTR is not the only option. You can try go by ferry and the fares is quite cheap compared to MTR. Most importantly, you can enjoy the stunning view and capture some unforgettable beautiful moments. I experienced going to Central from Tsim Sha Tsui Star Ferry Pier and it just costs me 2.7 $HKD. You don't have to queue up to buy any tickets and can just pay using Octopus Card. For more useful information, check out this link ->Star Ferry Pier

3. Central-Hong Kong Observation Wheel

Do not left out Hong Kong Observation Wheel if you visit Central, spend 20$HKD for the wheel ride and enjoy the stunning night view of TST and Central. You can queue up and buy your tickets there but if you afraid to waste your time on peak season especially holiday, you can still purchase your ticket online here. Whole ride takes about 15 minutes and if you take your ride from 7.50pm till 8.20pm you may have chance to watch the symphony lights.

4. Hang around in Mongkok

You can buy cheap souvenirs at night markets in Mongkok such as Ladies Market and Fa Yuen Street Market. Mongkok is a shopping heaven and if you wish to buy cosmetics or skin care products, you can purchase in Bonjour rather than Sasa outlets because Bonjour offer cheaper price compared to Sasa. Of course Mongkok do have shops with various brands of skin care products such as Nature Republic, Tony Moly, Etude House and so on along the streets. You can still have your cheaper meal nearby. This is the restaurant that I have my dinner and it just costs me 38$HKD which is equal to RM20 for a set meal that included beverage.

5. Hong Kong Disneyland

The fireworks show is no longer available in Hong Kong disneyland in year 2018 as the sleeping beauty castle is undergo maintenance and closed to upgrade their service. If you decided to visit HK disneyland, purchase your tickets in Klook is much more cheaper than you buy in other apps. Park calendar in Hong Kong Disneyland official website is very helpful to help you plan your schedule. Mostly you will spend your time here not over than 8pm because HK disneyland made changes on their operating hour and you have to refer to official website if you wish to go there. So much to share with you but I'm busy to blog about it. Perhaps I will do Part II for this post. Goodnight. 😉
